About Us

Save The Grand Theatre Inc. is a 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to bringing arts and entertainment to downtown Frankfort.
2005 saw the acquisition of the Grand Theatre with the beginning of 2006 seeing the theater reopened for activities. The goal for the Grand theatre in 2006 is to restore and adapt the theatre to bring a multi purpose visual and performing arts facility to the heart of Kentucky, in its capital city, Frankfort.
This theatre will have state wide impact. It will bring educational opportunities to Kentucky’s children. In addition it will provide the performing arts, music and film to local residents and visitors from all over the state.
